windows 7 and the F5D wireless card question

Posted by yoker63 5 years ago. SOmetime it would should the connection is all good, at at times it would say DNS server Click on that and hit the OK button. I then switched from the f5d which, under the ‘hood’ uses a Broadcom chipto another Belkin card which utilizes one of the Atheros chips, reinstalled the now malfunctioning 64bit install of windows 7, and this card worked immediately.

I’ve plugged this card into the motherboard and it’s being recognised as an attachment, but I believe I’m having trouble with the drivers as the computer isn’t showing any wireless networks.


Your device’s Hardware ID is: I downloaded the Vista driver from Belkin’s website, but it didn’t work. Repaired LAN driver on motherboard CD; don’t know that this made the difference if you don’t have cd. Problems with Belkin F5D? This item is in your list!
