It might be possible that this is a problem that affects tv tuner cards that use software decoding. I too have the same low bittrate issue. I’ve tried reinstalling from scratch 3 or 4 times. I really don’t feel like ripping my computer apart to test this one. I wiped partition and reinstalled 32 bit Win7. Let me know if solved, but could you remove a module of RAM living only 2 Gb and see if the problem still occurs and if the comp behaves different? I also have same problem. Back to topic. There are many other tuner cards out there with same issue but it is not tuner problem as the error is from it not fully supporting PC hardware. After every update and software install, I am going back to make sure it still works. I tweaked everything for performance, uninstalled everything I didn’t need, defragged registry, tuned all the things I could think of, uninstalled antivirus, then turned the avfrmedia rez back down to x Anyone have any other thoughts?
